lucy, quinn, fay and scott.

My last shoot of the day was with Fay and Scott and their kids Lucy and Quinn. I photographed them the first time I did mini sessions, and they came back for more. They are so much fun to work with. I love that they have a sense of humor and they aren’t afraid to show it in their photos!

zackary, dylan, laura and ben.

A few weeks ago I offered mini sessions in the west loop and photographed seven families! It was exhausting, but SO. MUCH. FUN. Each family is filled with so much personality and had me laughing, running, jumping, telling jokes…It was a great way to spend a beautiful fall day.

My first family was Laura and Ben and their two boys – Zackary and Dylan. If they look familiar, thats because Laura and Ben were one of my first weddings – and I’ve had the honor to photograph their boys a few times now!

holiday special #2: Chloe’s family.

Sorry for the delay – thanksgiving kind of got in the way….Up next in the holiday photo special is Chloe’s family. Chloe is one of my fellow skaters in Derby lite. She also skates with the windy city rollers…..and she also has an adorable family. I had no idea she was a mom of THREE! We had alot of fun on our “urban photo adventure!”

holiday special photos: addison and jackson

This weekend I tried something new. I offered 30 minute sessions for a discounted rate and I ended up with five shoots. It was a ton of fun! This time around I did it in the west loop, since its my favorite place to shoot ( its like a constant urban photowalk adventure – i could shoot there ALL day!)…The weather was pretty chilly, but everyone cooperated and put up with it! Thanks again to everyone who came out and made this happen. I’ll be posting the photos here shortly.

First up: Jackson and Addison. Started off a little on the rough side. The kiddos were cold, and it takes a little bit of time to get used to the big scary camera!  But, with a little bit of team work, we got them to run around and be crazy kids and with no time, their little personalities were shining through….
