Lindsey and brian just bought their first home in chicago on friday. And then on saturday morning we had a photoshoot! They wanted to capture photos for their holiday card in their new neighborhood, Old Town! I had a great time with the two of them and wish them lots of fun adventures in their new part of town.
Party bat! Not much to say about these guys. Had a great time during this shoot…. Lots of laughs.
Follow party bat here, and look for their new album out in October.
This weekend I met Leilani and her twin sister Marley. They are almost 3 years old. We took photos in a park in oak park on a beautiful summer-y day. The girls were so adorable – we had fun picking dandelions, running around and looking for bunnies and squirrels. Both girls were as sweet as can be, and I had a great time!
A few years ago, my friend’s lauren and dan had a baby girl, Lucy, and I was there to photograph her when she was a wee baby. Last week, Lauren gave birth to a baby boy, Lucas, and just five days later I was able to visit and snap some photos of this little guy. He looks ALOT like his little sister did. So happy for this sweet family of four!
Last week, I had my first Morton Grove photo clients!
The Doyle family lives next door to us, and earlier this summer we met their grandson, who lives in Colorado. Kaiden and my son became instant BFF’s. They were returning for a visit last week and asked to hire me for family photos. We went down the street to the park where they all grew up – the daughters had spent their youth at that park and it is the same park their kids do, years later. It was alot of fun, and even though it rained earlier in the day, you would have never known.
Saturday morning I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Erin and Dan for an engagement session in grant park. They chose grant park because it is where Dan proposed…how sweet! It was a chilly and windy start by the fountain, but they were great sports. Buckingham fountain is one of my favorite places in the city, and it made a lovely backdrop for their photos. It was a pleasure to have met the two of them, and I wish them the best as they prepare to celebrate their big day next summer.
